Many patients begin gentle MLD as early as 2-5 days post-op, but the safe start date is the one your surgeon gives you. Bring your post-op instructions and we’ll build your schedule around them.
You’ll be in a private space with professional draping. MLD uses very light, rhythmic strokes to move trapped fluid — it should feel calm and comfortable, never painful. Sessions typically run 60-90 minutes.
Yes! We offer mobile in-home sessions throughout Jacksonville — ideal in the first 1-2 weeks when driving is difficult. We bring a professional portable table and all supplies.
