Manual Lymph Drainage · Jacksonville, FL

Gentle drainage that helps your body heal.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is the certified, feather-light technique at the core of post-op recovery — moving trapped fluid, easing swelling and protecting your results.

What it is

A light technique with a big effect

Your lymphatic system is the body’s drainage network — it clears excess fluid, waste and inflammation. After surgery, that system gets overwhelmed, and fluid backs up.

MLD uses slow, rhythmic, very light strokes to gently guide fluid toward healthy lymph nodes. It’s nothing like deep-tissue massage — it should feel calm, soothing and completely comfortable.

The gold standard

Trained in the Vodder Technique

Crystal is certified in MLD using the Vodder Technique — the original and most widely respected MLD method, through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.

The Vodder Technique uses specific hand movements designed to work with — not against — your lymphatic system. Gentle enough for post-surgical tissue but effective enough to make a real difference.

Why it matters

What MLD does for your recovery

Reduces Swelling

Moves backed-up fluid out of the surgical area so you feel lighter and less tight, sooner.

Prevents Fibrosis

Keeping fluid moving lowers the chance of hardened, lumpy tissue forming as you heal.

Protects Your Results

Supports an even, smooth contour as skin and tissue settle over your new shape.
